NEW
YORK (AP) — A yacht carrying about 100 passengers on an evening dinner
cruise ran aground in New York Harbor, but there were no injuries and
rescuers shuttled everyone safely back to land.
WABC-TV in New York reports that the Hornblower Cruises and Events boat ran into trouble near Governor's Island around 10 p.m. Saturday.
A number of agencies including the fire and police departments sent vessels to remove the passengers and brought them to a Manhattan pier.
It wasn't clear what caused the yacht to run aground.
